The Turkish authorities announced that, as of May 29 this year, they will be allowed to perform Friday, noon and afternoon prayers in mosques.
This came in a circular sent by the Ministry of the Interior to all states, on Friday, as part of mitigating measures taken to limit the spread of the Corona virus.
And the ministry stated in the circular that everyone who performs the prayers of the noon, afternoon and Friday prayers in mosques must wear a medical mask.
She said that anything that would increase the spread of the epidemic would not allow him to be in mosques, such as the rosary and the "globet" of shoes.
She pointed out that the shrines inside the campus will not be opened for visitors, and a strip will be placed at a distance of at least one meter away from its outer walls to prevent touching it.
The ministry pointed out that Friday prayers will be performed in mosques designated by the local authorities in the states, so that there is sufficient open space, garden or courtyard for the mosque.
She reported not giving preaching lessons before the sermon, noting that the prayers will be performed as soon as possible.
The Ministry stated that the mosques will remain open to those who wish to pray alone, at other times.
She stated that it is possible to perform the Dhuhr and Asr prayers within the covered area, depending on the weather conditions, except that the priority for the garden and courtyard of the mosque, as for Friday prayers, it will not be permitted to perform them except in open spaces.
The Interior Ministry stressed that sterilization procedures will increase, indicating that the air conditioners will not work and the doors and windows will remain open to ventilate the mosques.
She pointed out that the lights and baths will remain closed, pointing to the suspension of informative signs to publicize the rules of performing congregational prayer.
She stated that sterilizers will be available at the entrances, in addition to the presence of signs on the floors of mosques to observe the rules of social divergence.
It stated that the local authorities in the states will announce the mosques where prayers will be held until May 26, at the latest.
Since March 16, the Presidency of Religious Affairs has suspended the performance of prayers in mosques, as part of measures to curb the spread of the virus.
Earlier Friday, Turkey announced that the death toll from Coruna injuries would increase to 154 thousand and 500, and deaths to 4 thousand and 276, while the number of people recovered reached 116 thousand and 111.
